CFEH was established in 1975 by DeHaven Batchelor, DVM, as an ambulatory practice.  As central Florida has grown over the years, so has the equine population and the need for medical care for our horse patients.  The ambulatory practice provides service to the greater Orlando area of central Florida and the surrounding 5 counties focusing on companion and sport horses, lameness, reproduction, advanced dentistry, preventative medicine and diagnostics (including digital radiology and ultrasound), and general equine medicine and surgery.  Our practice now includes 3 full time veterinarians and a trained support staff to provide a broad range of health services  as well as emergency care.
