CFEH was established in 1975 by DeHaven Batchelor, DVM, as an ambulatory practice.  As central Florida has grown over the years, so has the equine population and the need for medical care for our horse patients.  The ambulatory practice covers the geographic area of central Florida and is focused on sport horses, companion horses, reproduction, dentistry, preventative medicine, and general equine medicine and surgery.  Our practice now includes 3 full time veterinarians and trained support staff.
